The museum is open all year.
During the main season, the museum is open all days from 10am to 5pm. Start and end of the main season varies from year to year, and is announced on the front page or on the right side of this article. Outside the main season the museum is open tuesdays to fridays from 10am to 3pm.
Film and guided tour
The guided tour starts with the film "The Industrial Adventure" at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 4 pm during summer opening hours. The second film available is the "Industrial pioneers".
During the off-season there will only be guided tours for groups booked in advance.
You may also take a tour on your own at the museum site. Ask for more information in the museum reception in the little red house. During the off-season you will find the staff in the concrete administration building.
Drive to the car park at the sports stadium - you get a free parking ticket at the museum. Then walk about 500 meters on the road until you see the sign to Lilletopp. Hike the trail for some 30 minutes until you reach the buildings. The trail is steep, but good manageable for all ages. In the old guards house there is a small vintage café that is open from 11am to 4pm. Guided tours through the tunnels at 12h and 2pm.

You will get information and tickets in the administration building.
You are welcome to book a visit to the museum on weekends. Booking before 12pm fridays.
For bookings outside the opening hours there will be an extra fee for guide.
